Global Tour 2011

In the Spring of 2011, 50 grade nine students from Cole Harbour High and Auburn Drive High feeder schools spent three days exploring each other’s communities, learning what it’s like to go to high school, and making new friends. This video documents their experience.

Global Tour 2011 was funded in part by the Rural Communities Foundation of Nova Scotia Rural Leadership Initiative Grant Program. Global Tours enables youth from neighbouring communities to get together, understand, and befriend each other. These important connections enrich their lives and dramatically improve the high school social environment.
